The only real way to make this us full is via the
[slideshow custom=1]
And you can add custom photos and number them 1,2,3..etc..above.
But where you add more photos under manage slides, there is no identification to see what number each as been assigned. So yo have to count from the bottom up if you’ve added something recently that is next to something you added months or weeks ago or maybe even pages of them, then you have to count. Seems pretty lame for something soo cool. Maybe they/you can add that feature????
Thanks for reading

Love the plugin! It’s on our web site, front and center – but I can’t find any way to order the slides! Pressing “order slides” brings me to a page where I can drag and rearrange them fine but it’s always a last inserted, last frame issue. All slides show order number “1″ so I’d appreciate a tip – or to hear it’s a known bug.

Hi,
Great plugin, but I have a question. The plugin seems to work in every browser but IE. Is this a compatibility issue? My server is PHP 5 enabled. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Hi There!
Love the easy-to-use-plugin! I came across this plugin when I had to delete other slideshow plugins. Just one thing I need, is there any way I remove hover links on the photos? In other words, I don’t want visitors to ‘click’ on the slideshow; I just went them to view. Please let me know if this is possible. My v2 website is: http://www.cakedla.com/v2
Thank you so much! I LOVE this plugin! Awesome work!

This has been asked before once, but not answered.. is there a way to turn off the hyperlinking to the image if so desired (the way you have for your own sample gallery?). I think this is a great gallery for portfolios, but if you have right click disabled your site to discourage saving of images the linked image does not contain that restriction..
Thanks!

The plugin is great! Thank You! But i cant find one thing – how to change the background color of the place where the big image is showing? default is black #000000 and i searched every plugins file for it – no luck. Anyone knows how to change it? You can see that color only if you set not to resize images. Slideshow background option changes everything except this color. Help, please! *

#14 by Wilford on July 7, 2010 - 5:04 pm
I need to second this comment. Please advise how to order slides. When I use this feature they all show the order as being “1″.
#15 by Wilford on July 7, 2010 - 5:05 pm
Again, great plugin, but my audience is also very IE-heavy. I need either a fix or I’ll have to turn to something else.

Beautiful plugin.
Two questions:
1. How to reorder slides? I can click the Order Slides button and drag them around but the order doesn’t change. Am I missing something?
2. Slideshow covers menu drop-downs in IE. Any way to fix this?
3. Sometimes only one thumbnail loads, but the photos always work fine.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Just wondering if this plug in can be used as a homepage gallery only – and set to use the most recent post from each category.

Ho risolto il problema, c’era un plugin che disturbava e che ho tolto. Ora funziona tutto bene.

it would be great to be able to post two galleries per page, now if you put in the code with a different id, only one of the galleries will work,
stumped

It seems that the download for 1.0.5 on the wordpress site does not include the tinymce button…
Someone able to validate this?
I expect it to reside in the /js folder of the plugin, but I only seem to have two normal .js files and no tinymce folder.
#25 by Vignesh on August 21, 2010 - 6:04 am
Hey would it be possible to set and active slide feature. As in maybe even though its the third slide we want that one to be the active slide. Kind of gives a perspective of past events and new events.
#26 by m on August 31, 2010 - 9:17 pm
Hi thanks for this awesome plugin, works perfectly.
I needed to disable the middle link button too like those above.
for those who also need to do that.
I went to views/default/gallery.php
and I took out line 56
” ”
that did the trick. not sure if that’s the right way but it worked.
Originally I just tried to hide it view css but for some odd reason this caused the slideshow to flicker and blink. not sure why.
anyway…truly a great plugin many thanks for putting this out there for us to use!!

Any fix for the links not working in IE yet? please please please desperately need this to work!
#28 by Sven Vanbrabant on September 15, 2010 - 3:41 pm
I implemented the plugin, and the result is great.
However, I have a problem:
In my slideshows I prefer not to resize the pictures. So in my slideshow I have smaller and bigger pictures. But when a smaller picture follows a bigger picture in the slideshow, the bigger picture is still vissible behind the smaller one.
See http://www.reyskens.be/hasselt/index.php/vi-spring/ for the result.
This problem does not occur when a portrait size picture follows a landscape size picture.
Can anyone help me?
Thanking you in advance.

Hello,
I was wondering if you have an FAQ section. I’m having problems with the slideshow displaying and was wondering if anyone else had the same issue and how they were able to fix it.
Just in case you have time to answer back – basically what’s happening is that the HTML is showing (like in Firebug) but it’s not actually rendering completely. So it shows the slideshow as a “display: none”.
I really need help as this project is an emergency project and this is the only slideshow that I’ve always worked with.
Thank you,
Gedy

Great Plugin!!! Worked as designed for the first of four slideshows I have on my clients site. The only one I can “manage” (re-order, add descriptions, etc) is the first one I created. How do I get the “Manage Slideshows” feature to “see” the other three???
THANX!!!

Hello,
Great plugin!
I was just wondering, if there’s a way to stop/pause the slideshow on mouseover, and let it continue on mouseout?
Thanks!

Thanks for the great plugin! I have one suggestion – I just had to spent awhile trying to figure out why the plugin was breaking other parts of my site – finally i realized that it’s because I had other #slideshow divs on some pages. I might suggest changing your class names to something more arbitrary, so conflicts don’t arise accidentally.
#36 by ilithya on October 13, 2010 - 7:10 pm
Hi Antonie,
I have the same problem as Toby (#1).
When I see pages with the plugin in Safari and Chrome, it only shows 3 or 4 thumnails (even when I have 30). And only when I switch to another page and then come back. Then it displays the 30 thumnails correctly.
But never the first time I land in that page. Any clue why’s that happening?
I’ll appreciate if you know why. Thanks again!
Happy coding.

When will the IE link bug be fixed? I just installed this on client site, and the links work fine in everything but IE — but not at all in IE.

Hi, thanks for the plugin, I like it a lot.
However, did anybody manage to have multiple slideshow in two different pages with different set of custom photos?
[slideshow custom=1]
I tried to do
[slideshow custom=1,2] and [slideshow custom=3,4]
but both slideshow show everything from id 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Could you please help? Thanks in advance.

Hi. Just installed your great Slideshow Gallery plugin. Love the “exclude” option. One question: I do not seem to be able to run two slideshows in one post. Only one at a time works. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.
#41 by Antonie Potgieter on November 18, 2010 - 9:31 pm
@Manuela,
It is not currently possible to show 2 slideshows on the same page of a website because the ID values conflict. We will try to make this possible in a future release. Did you see that v1.1 of the Slideshow Gallery plugin was released today?
All the best,
Antonie
#42 by Antonie Potgieter on November 18, 2010 - 10:13 pm
@Steve,
The IE link bug has now been fixed in v1.1 of the Slideshow Gallery plugin.
All the best,
Antonie

images not showing- found the problem.
well, my images ware not showing 2. i went inside the :
/wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/
deleted the folder:
slideshow-gallery
created a new folder and named it:
slideshow-gallery
gave it a 777 permission and it’s now showing the photos…
#48 by z on September 15, 2011 - 2:15 pm
hi man, you just need to delete the folder “slideshow-gallery” in :
wp-content/uploads/slideshow-gallery/
and re-create it, then giv it a 777 permission and it will work
