This is a very good plugin! I love it!
I would like to know how can I turn off the “URL” in the image… since I don’t want the images open URL in new page… simply showing the image (like your demo) is okay..
(May be the way is just simple buy I am weak in JS..Thank you very much)

This plugin doesn’t appear to fully work in 2.8.6 — when i go to configurations the screen is messed up and showing what must be layout code.

hi. i wondered if there was a way to remove the sliders on the thumbnails, and instead, just have the thumbnails undernath in rows/columns?
thx, AG

Hi Antonie,
great plugin – but it doesn’t work when I post the code snippet
slideshow(); ?> in the header.php
when I insert it into a post or a page (via wp admin panel) it works.
Any ideas on how to call the plugin differently ?
Another thing, naming the plugin holder “wrapper” is not a good thing, since most of the sites already use that id. The css you made for this element messes up the whole layout.
cheers

I’ve installed this several times now, both through WP and manually. Each time, the slideshow admin panel just says:
Manage Slides (
And the configuration page just has the headers of the boxes, but that’s it. I’ve used this plugin successfully before on a different server. Do I have to CHMOD a folder or something?

I installed your plugin but I’m getting this error in the “Manage Slides” page when I try to configure it…
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/views/admin/slides/index.php on line 48

I also have the Invalid Header error—and short_open_tag is set to “On” in my php.ini file.
I really want this plugin to work, it looks great!

I’m running PHP 5 and WP 2.8.6 on localhost.

Interesting, I tried a second time to activate it (after dinner) and now it works.

Hi there,
I seem to be having difficulty getting the pictures to show in the slideshow. I’ve got them linked directly to the JPG file. Could it be a sizing issue?

Very cool plug-in.
Is it possible to display more than one slide-show on a WP site? If so, then it’s perfect.

I installed your plugin & after activating it, I got following errormassage:
Warning: Wrong parameter count for class_exists() in /www/htdocs/w00896f7/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/slideshow-gallery-plugin.php on line 55
Warning: Wrong parameter count for class_exists() in /www/htdocs/w00896f7/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/slideshow-gallery-plugin.php on line 73
I’m using the latest wp-Version.
What is wrong? What do I have to check or change?
#15 by Antonie Potgieter on December 10, 2009 - 7:19 pm
It is because you are running PHP 4.
class_exists had a 2nd parameter, called autoLoad introduced to it in PHP 5.
I’m removing this from the next release to make the plugin PHP 4 compatible.

Not yet but I’m currently developing it. Please subscribe for the next release.

Hi – I love the look of your plug-in, and have been having problems with FCG so I installed, inserted the PHP code into my index.php in my theme, have added 2 slides and checked the configuration, but all I get is the background and right/left arrows. Am I missing some step, or doing something wrong?

Great plug-in!
Pls add me to notification to let me know when I can have multiple slide-shows.
I am only using it on one page of my site at this stage but have more pages where I will be able to use it when I can have the different slideshows.
Thanks
Simon

v1.0.3 of the WordPress Slideshow Gallery plugin has been released with several improvements and fixes. Multiple galleries, making use of the WordPress media uploaded to posts/pages are not available. http://wpgallery.tribulant.net

Great plugin!!
mainly if it can show multiple galleries, which I must confess, don´t have a clue about how-to-do-it…
I went through the entire site and couldn´t find a “for dummies” explanation…
Would you be so kind as to doing that?
Thank you for a great (and free) plugin!
